PANAJI: Representatives and staff of the Horticulture Department from across Goa met Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) MLA Viresh Borkar on Saturday to seek his intervention in addressing various long-pending issues concerning employees and the department’s functioning.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted concerns related to service matters, working conditions, infrastructure, and administrative issues. They appealed to the MLA to take up these matters with the Government and ensure that their grievances are addressed.
Borkar assured the delegation that he would extend his full support and said the issues affecting Horticulture Department employees deserve serious attention.
He stated that he would raise the matter during the upcoming Goa Legislative Assembly session and press the Government to find appropriate solutions. The RGP MLA also reiterated his commitment to standing with government employees and ensuring that their concerns are heard on the floor of the House.
