VASCO: A case of theft was registered at the Verna Police Station following a complaint by one Avinash Kumar Jha, a resident of Birla Cross Junction, Cortalim.
The complainant, originally from Supaul, Bihar, reported that unknown miscreants broke into his flat between 8:25 am and 9:20 am on 27th September 2024.
“The accused allegedly gained entry through the main door and stole several valuables, including a OnePlus Nord mobile phone worth ₹30,000, a Dell Latitude laptop worth ₹18,000, a wallet containing ₹290, and a Redmi 91 mobile phone worth ₹7,000. The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be ₹55,290,” said the complaint
The case is currently under investigation, led by ASI Paresh V. Faldessai under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
