CANACONA: Canacona police have arrested two Gadag (Karnataka) natives residing in Canacona in possession with Ganja worth Rs.61,600/-.
According to police sources, Ramesh Muradi, 24 residing at Mastimoll (Canaocna), native of Gadag(Karnataka and Krishnappa Naik, 21 residing at Khalwadde(Canacona) native of Gadag(Karnataka) were found in illegal possession of dry greenish colour leafy/flowery substance at Palolem at about 10 pm.
The substance weighing 616 grams is suspected to be Ganja and is worth Rs.61,600/-\ in the international market.
The duo are reportedly staying in rented rooms at Mastimoll and Khalwade, respectively were reportedly rounded up for their suspicious movements were found in possession with the narcotics substance are arrested U/S 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act and further investigation is being carried out by Canacona police led by PI Harish Raut Dessai.
