MARGAO: In an exciting exhibition match, UC Seraulim defeated UC Benaulim 2-0 at SAG Ground Vadi Benaulim.
The game, watched by a moderate crowd, saw Benaulim fielding both new faces and regular players as they launched multiple attacks. However, Seraulim, appearing well-organized, controlled much of the match. Seraulim’s dominance paid off in the 20th minute when Jesus scored the opening goal. Despite Benaulim’s persistent efforts to equalize, the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Seraulim.
After the break, Benaulim intensified their efforts to find an equalizer. Midfielders Yasin, Arif, and Kayden combined effectively, but their forwards failed to capitalize on their chances. In the dying minutes of the match, Seraulim secured their victory with a second goal from Edson sealing a 2-0 result. The match was both exciting and entertaining for the spectators.
