BICHOLIM: An unidentified male was found lying at Setu Sangam, Bicholim, and later declared brought dead at CHC Bicholim on Monday morning.
According to police, Bicholim Police received a phone call at around 10:25 am on April 6, 2026 from an unknown caller informing that a man was lying at the spot and suspected to be dead. PSI Jayprakash Jankar rushed to the location and shifted the person in a 108 ambulance to CHC Bicholim, where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.
Police described the deceased as around 40 years of age, approximately 5.5 feet in height, whitish complexion and medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and black full pant, and had a tattoo of a heart with the letter “S” on his right hand.
An unnatural death case has been registered at Bicholim Police Station (U.D. No. 22/2026) under section 194 BNSS. The body has been shifted to GMC Morgue, Bambolim, for medico-legal formalities.
Police are making efforts to establish the identity of the deceased and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Jayprakash Jankar of Bicholim Police Station.
