VASCO: An unidentified man, believed to be around 35 to 40 years old, was declared brought dead at the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Chicalim, after being found lying on a bench near Sai Baba Temple in Vasco.
According to information received from the Medical Officer of SDH Chicalim on October 27 at around 10.12 pm, the man was brought to the hospital by 108 ambulance staff.
During the enquiry, police found the deceased to be of medium build and approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans and had red and green religious threads tied around his waist.
Police conducted an inquest panchanama, and the body was preserved at South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao, for further medico-legal formalities.
Further enquiry in the case is being conducted by PSI Suresh B. Velip of Vasco Police Station.
