PANAJI: In a spectacular display of skill and determination, the recent Judo Championships organised by Goa University from 22nd to 25th August 2023 at Jubilee Hall saw remarkable achievements by V.M. Salgaocar College athletes.
Sanskruti Sandesh Amonkar secured a notable silver medal in the -57kg category, while Vishaka Malik earned a deserving silver in the -78kg category.
Priti Ramnath Kalmankar stood out with a gold medal in the same category.
Dominating the above 78kg weight category, Iram Khatri clinched a gold medal and was honoured as the best Judoka overall.
Adding to the glory, the women’s team emerged triumphant, capturing the team championship title.
Their exceptional performances have not only brought pride to the institute but have also highlighted college prowess in the Game of Judo.
