DABOLIM: Dabolim Airport Police have registered a case against a woman from Mizoram for allegedly impersonating another person during proceedings linked to an NDPS case at Goa International Airport.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Sarvesh Kumar Kushwaha, Intelligence Officer of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Goa Regional Unit.
Police said that on March 25, 2026, at the Customs Office at Goa International Airport, Dabolim, the accused woman identified as Olivia Lalchawimawii, a resident of Mizoram, was apprehended by DRI officials in connection with an offence under the NDPS Act, 1985.
During the inquiry and case formalities, the accused allegedly falsely represented herself as “Lallawmzuali” by producing an Aadhaar card and boarding pass bearing that name, which she had allegedly used for travel, instead of disclosing her actual identity as Olivia Lalchawimawii.
Based on the complaint, Dabolim Airport Police registered an offence under Section 319(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Smita Morajkar of Dabolim Airport Police Station.
