Vasco: Siblings Vanya Girish Satardekar and Gitesh Girish Satardekar from Mormugao are making Goa proud with their exceptional achievements at a very young age, earning recognition across multiple fields.
Nine-year-old Vanya Girish Satardekar has emerged as a national-level Taekwondo medalist and a standout performer in fashion pageants, holding titles at international, national and state levels. Beyond her success on stage, she has also excelled in academics and extracurricular activities, including Abacus, state-level yoga, classical dance and art. Her all-round accomplishments have earned her the prestigious Manohar Parrikar Goa Ratna Puraskar 2026, presented at Tiara Vista India 2026 in association with JCI Panaji Goa.
Her younger brother, three-year-old Gitesh Girish Satardekar, has also begun his journey with impressive success. He secured titles such as Master Goa and Fashion Model of India at the age of two. Continuing his winning streak, he recently achieved the position of second runner-up along with the “Talented” title at Tiara Vista India.
Together, the siblings have showcased remarkable talent, discipline and confidence, bringing pride to their family and the state. Their achievements at such an early age highlight their potential and set an inspiring example for young talents across Goa.
