SALIGAO: Saligao Police have arrested a youth in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl, officials said.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the investigating officer, along with the victim, police personnel and a forensic team, visited the alleged crime scene to gather additional evidence linked to the case.
Police sources said the inspection was carried out to reconstruct the sequence of events and assist in the forensic examination related to the investigation.
Further inquiry in the matter is underway.
