NESSAI: A delegation of the Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (GPYC), along with members of the South Goa District Committee and NSUI Goa, visited the family of a 17-year-old student who reportedly died by suicide due to exam-related stress.
The delegation met the bereaved family, expressed their heartfelt condolences, and stood in solidarity during the difficult time. Leaders highlighted that the incident reflects the growing concern over mental health issues among students and the pressure associated with academics.
They also prayed for strength for the grieving family and peace for the departed soul.
The delegation included GPYC President Archit Naik, GPYC Incharge Swapnil Patil and Hargun Singh, DCC President Assiz Noronha, GPYC General Secretary Naushad Chakudhari, Ex-DCC President Savio Dsilva, Block President Francis, NSUI General Secretary Kumar Gavali, and Samir Sawar.
