CURCHOREM: Police arrested a youth for possessing suspected narcotics at Xelvona, Curchorem, on Wednesday night.
According to police, Sarthak Naik, a resident of Assolda, Quepem, was caught red-handed at around 9 pm on September 10, 2025, with 83 grams of greenish leafy substance with flowering and fruiting tops, suspected to be ganja, worth approximately ₹8,300.
The case was registered on the complaint of PSI Mayur Panshikar of Curchorem Police Station, and further investigation has been handed over to PSI Dinesh Gaonkar.
