PANAJI: Three IAS officers, Ramesh Verma, Sandip Jacques, and Sarpreet Singh Gill, have been appointed by the State government as “Commissioner-cum-Secretary” to the government.
The Department of Personnel issued the directive on Friday after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) promoted the three officers to the L-14 Super Time Scale.
Ramesh Verma (IAS-AGMUT-2009), Sandip Jacques (IAS-AGMUT-2009), and Sarpreet Singh Gill (IAS-AGMUT-2009) have been appointed by the Governor as Commissioners-cum-secretaries to the government. The directive, which was signed by Under Secretary (Personnel-I) Eshant Sawant, states that the aforementioned officers will remain in charge of the departments they currently oversee.
At the moment, Verma is the Commissioner-cum-Secretary for Elections, Jacques is assigned to the Revenue Department, and Gill is in charge of the Water Resources Department.
