MARGAO: Margao Town Police has arrested Karnataka native for allegedly kidnapping minor at Dramapur in South Goam
During the course of investigation and with the help of Call monitoring surveillances and upon the technical data analysis after surveillances it has come to light that the said minor girl is at Hanabaratti, Belgaum District, Karnataka.
During investigation police team was formed consisting of PSI Sameer Goankar, PC Rizwan Shaik and LPC Sunita Gaonkar and proceeded for investigation at Hanabaratti, Nesargi, Karnataka and with the help of Police assistance of Nesargi Police Station, Karnataka and continuous monitoring of technical surveillance missing minor Victim girl was traced and apprehended one person namely Sunil Pujari, age-30 years, R/o Odlembhat, Quepem-Goa along with her at Hanabaratti, Nesargi, Karnataka.
Further Pujari was brought to Police Station and arrested for kidnapping minor girl from lawful guardianship and minor victim girl.
During further investigation said victim girl was sent before NGO to record Statement wherein she disclosed that she was sexually assaulted by the accused person on multiple occasions.
Upon which the sections 64 of BNS, Section 8(2) of Goa Children act and section 4, 8 and 12 of POCSO act were adduced to the case.
Investigation of the case is carried out by LPSI Aanushka Parab under the guidance of PI MTPS Tulshidas Naik and under the Supervision of SDPO Margao Siddhant U Shirodkar and overall supervision of Tikam Singh Verma superintendent of Police South Margao.
