PONDA: A 40-year old woman died on the spot after a retaining wall collapsed on her at Dumre Velop, Kavlem on Thursday evening.
According to Ponda Police PSI Aditya Velip visited at near Shiv Parvati temple Khadpaband r/o Govind Sadya H.No 84 Dhumere Velop Queula Ponda Goa and conducted panchanama at the scene of incident in presence of Panch witnesses.
Inquiries revealed that Devamma W/o Basuraj Hugar age 40years R/o C/o Govind Sadye H.No 84 Dhumere Velop Queula Ponda Goa had expired due to collapse of one retaining wall on her, due to which she sustained injuries and expired.
The retaining wall is located to near her rented room.
In this connection Ponda PS registered UD and her dead body shifted at SDH Ponda.
