KARMALI:The Konkan railway police were rewarded with a pat on the back for successfully tracking down a missing six-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh who had vanished from a train.
A nine-member family from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, was reportedly on vacation in the state, according to the police. The boy vanished from view on the train as they were heading back home.
At the Karmali railway station, police constables Brijesh Naik, the head constable, and constables Raghesh Naik, Manjunath, and Deeptesh Kerkar later located the missing boy. Later on, his parents were given safe custody of him.
