Panaji: The Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs and the Sports Authority of Goa successfully organised a stress management session for officers and staff members on May 12, 2026, at the Kala Academy Black Box in Campal, Panaji.
The programme, held at 10.30 am, focused on promoting mental wellness, emotional balance and a positive work environment among employees. The session was conducted by Jain Acharya Dr. Arvind Muni, who shared valuable insights on managing stress and maintaining a healthy mindset in both personal and professional life.
During the interactive session, Dr. Arvind Muni Ji highlighted the importance of compassion, care and self discipline in creating a healthier and more motivated workforce. He encouraged participants to cultivate positivity and emotional balance while handling the demands of daily work life. The session also emphasised the need for mental wellbeing as an essential part of overall productivity and workplace harmony.
Officials and staff members from both departments actively participated in the programme and engaged with the speaker on various aspects related to stress management and mental health awareness.
Dr. Ajay Gaude, Director of Sports and Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa, attended the session along with officers and employees of the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs and the Sports Authority of Goa.
The initiative formed part of ongoing efforts to promote employee wellbeing and create a supportive and encouraging workplace culture within the state’s sports administration system.
