Margao: The AFC Futsal Level One Coaching Course, organized by Sporting Clube de Goa in association with the Goa Football Association, has officially commenced today at the Chowgule Futsal Arena. The course will be held from 20th August to 25th August.
The course will be led by Mr. Joshua Vaz as the main Coach Educator, with Mr. Socorro Vaz as the coordinator for the course. The inauguration was graced by the presence of Sporting Clube de Goa’s Director, Diago Nathan Vaz, along with CEO Welvin Menezes and Technical Director Savio Medeira.
Fifteen aspiring young coaches, selected through the official portal of AIFF, are participating in this intensive training program. This initiative is a significant step in raising the standards of Futsal coaches in Goa and in India.
During the inauguration, Welvin Menezes, CEO of Sporting Clube de Goa, expressed his gratitude to the AFC, AIFF, and GFA for their support in accepting the proposal to conduct this prestigious course in Goa.
