PANJIM: Rodney Almeida today has resigned post of South Goa District Convener as well as from the Primary Membership of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with immediate effect.
“I can proudly say that I gave my all only to see if Goa could be saved through the concept of Swaraj, transparency and the 3 C’s enshrined in AAP’s constitution,” Rodney said
Almeida said that with time everything seems to have changed, including how Swaraj is defined.
“The recent coup d’etat stage managed by AAP Delhi leads me to believe that the AAP ideology of Swaraj etc is nothing but hollow words for the consumption of gullible voters,” she added
He also thanked wish to sincerely thank each and every volunteer, supporter, sympathizer, voter and all those who contributed to keep us going, by sacrificing his / her time to come out for the various protests, activities, functions etc at short notice.
Meanwhile, she said that she will continue to devote time and resources for the betterment of Goa through forums that honestly fight.
