CANACONA: Stating ‘Apli Manshe’ is a documentary book fit for the next generation, Dhempe college Principal Dr. Manoj Kamat, said people should work with a sense of dedication towards the society while facing own challenges fearlessly.
Dr. Kamat was speaking after releasing the book ‘Aapli Manase’, the 14th publication by a senior journalist Ajit Painginkar of Canacona.
Speaking further Dr. Kamat expressed the view that the book ‘Aapli Manase’ should be viewed as a document of accepting good things and living with it.
The 14th book written by Ajit Poinguinkar is published by Anujit Prakashan was launched at a special function organized at the Lata Mangeshkar Kalangan at Chaudi in Canacona. Also oresent on the occasion CMC Chairperson Sara Shamba Naik Desai, Educationist and Shri Nirankar Education Society Chairman Prashant Naik, Chaudi Councilor Ramakant Naik Gaonkar, Teacher and Artist Kavindra Phaldesai in the presence of writer Ajit Painginkar.
The book ‘Apli Manshe’ can be considered as a document for the next generation written by Painginkar, thinking about the current situation. Mr. Painguinkar has been working in the field of journalism for the last fifty years, literature being his strength repeated Prashant Naik praising the works of Painginkar further stating that this book is the 14th gem of Anujit Prakashan.
In their speaches CMC chairperson Sara Desai and Councilor Ramakant N. Gaonkar said current habits in the society is slowly destroying humanity, and this book ‘Aple Manshe should assist in some or other ways help to preserve humanity. Both also expressed their opinion that Journalist Painginkar should raise his voice on the burning issues of Canacona, so that those involved in politics are made aware and motivated to work better for the society
Commenting on the book, Kavindra Phaldesai described the author’s power of imagination and reality, and opined that the book would be a valuable document. ‘the book centre’s around portaying 19 individuals from art, culture, literature, politics, and social work.
In his welcome address Tiatrist Ramesh Komarpant, said writer Ajit Painginkar expressed his inner sentiments in the book.
Sukhda Painginkar, publisher of Anujit Prakashan, presented the guests with souvenirs. Harichandra Kholkar moderated the program and Devidas Gaonkar proposed a vote of thanks.
