Mapusa: Arjun Bhagat, seeded one, will clash with Yash Desai (2) in the highly anticipated U19 Boys singles finals, while Ritika Chelluri and Shreya Mehta will battle it out in the U19 Girls singles finals at the All Goa Major Ranking Badminton Tournament. Organized by Mapusa Shuttlers in collaboration with the Goa Badminton Association, this event, a selection tournament for the upcoming West Zone and Nationals is taking place at Peddem.
The U15 Boys finals will see Aarush Pawaskar (1) up against Shane D’Souza (2), and in the U15 Girls finals, Ritika Chelluri (1) faces the challenge of Aarya Metry. In the U11 category, young talent Amaira Dhumatkar (1) will meet Kanika Pai Vernekar (2) in the Girls finals, while Michael Mare (1) competes against Pratik Naik Borkar (2) in the Boys finals. Vihaan Rajiv Sahakari (1) and Priyansh Sawant Dessai (3) will contest the U9 Boys finals, and Amaira Dhumatker (1) will go head-to-head with Anvitha Poojari in the U9 Girls finals.
The U11 Boys doubles finals will feature Pratik P Naik Borkar and Varun Rajiv Sahakari against Arha Sahakari and Vedh Lotlikar. In the Boys U15 finals, top seeds Arnav Saraf and Shane D’Souza will take on Ansh Chaurasia and Sparsh Satya Kolwalkar (2). The Boys U19 finals promise an exciting showdown between Ashmeet Parsekar and Parth Joshi against Arjun Bhagat and Shaheen C.K.
The U19 Mixed doubles finals will see top seeds Shaheen C.K and Sufiya Shaikh face Rudra Phadte and Aarohi Coutoncar (2).
Shane D’Souza and Saanvi Audi (3) will compete against Arnav Saraf and Niharika Parwar in the U15 Mixed doubles finals. In the U15 Girls doubles, Aaryaa Metry and Saanvi Audi take on Dimple Revankar and Ritika Chelluri, while Shreya Mehta and Twinkle Sullad [1] will clash with Shivanjali Thite and Sufiya Shaikh [2] in the U19 Girls doubles finals.
