PANAJI: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Leader Pawan Khera today said that at least 10-15 BJP-led state governments will collapse after INDIA Alliances amends tenth schedule.
“At least 10-15 BJP-led state governments will collapse after INDIA Alliances is voted to power as we will amend the tenth schedule which will attract disqualification once they leave the party,” said Khera.
He further said that the people of Goa have seen the Congress Goa Manifesto and they know that Congress will deliver on its promises.
“Congress will save Goa’s biodiversity, Do we want to see Goa becoming a coal hub?, is that what Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants,” said Khera.
Responding to questions about the BJP’s ambitious claim of winning over 400 Lok Sabha seats, Khera suggested that such rhetoric reflects a fundamental flaw in the BJP’s agenda, pointing to their alleged intentions to alter the constitution and abolish reservation policies.
Khera expressed concern over the significant discrepancies in voting figures, indicating that the Congress party plans to investigate further and may approach the Election Commission for clarification.
Khera denied any mention of Muslims in the Congress manifesto.
“Not a single word of Muslim has been used in the manifesto of the Congress party. I have not read the manifesto of the Muslim League. I don’t know if the Prime Minister has read it.”
Meanwhile, Congress Goa President Amit Patkar said that the BJP is trying to divert attention from the real issues.
“Media should ask Union Home Minister Amit Shah when he comes to Goa, what is his party’s stand on the tenth schedule of the constitution,” said Patkar.
