Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: In a move to resolve pending private forest rights claims, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has confirmed that all claims under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) will be disposed of by December 19, 2025. Team Goemkarponn MAPUSA: A 53-year-old woman, Mrs. Yallamma Lakkundi, tragically passed away at the Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, on Sunday while undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in a road accident. According to Mapusa Police, Mrs. Lakkundi, a resident of Morjim in Pernem and originally from Sortur in Gadag, Karnataka, had been admitted to Ward No. 120 at GMC after suffering serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident.
