Team Goemkarponn PANAJI: A male body was found lodged in a gap of the New Mandovi Bridge’s pillar near Divja Circle around 1:10 PM on Monday. The discovery was made after firefighting services received a report of a floating body in the Mandovi River. Team Goemkarponn SIOLIM: In a swift operation conducted by the Crime Branch team, two Russian nationals were arrested in Goa for illegally residing in the state without valid visas. The arrested individuals, Andrei Bliznetsov (48) and his mother, Liudmila Bliznetsova (75), were detained on April 4, 2025, from a residence in Dando, Siolim, Bardez. The duo was found living at the address of local resident Laxmikant Shirodkar, H. No. 2963/3, Dando, Siolim. They have been charged under Section 7(1)(3) of the Foreigners Order 1948 and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946, which deal with the violation of immigration laws.…
