CALANGUTE: Calangute Police have registered a case under Section 17-A of the Goa Town and Country Planning (TCP) Act based on a complaint filed by Shri Vivek D. Mayekar, Planning Assistant with the Town and Country Planning Department, North Goa.
As per the complaint, an unknown person was found to have illegally carried out filling of low-lying land at Survey No. 335/20 of Calangute Village Panchayat, prior to February 24, 2025, without the necessary permissions.
The offence was registered at 21:02 hours as Calangute Police Station Crime No. 108/2025.
PSI Dinesh Kanolkar of Calangute Police Station is conducting further investigation into the matter.
