Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: Shankar Chodankar and Sanjana Velip have both been elected as ZP Chairpersons for North and South Goa respectively. Both Chodankar and Velip had filed their nomination papers for the posts on Friday. Chodankar was elected as a ZP Member from the Chorao ZP constituency while Velip represents the Guirdolim ZP constituency. Both the posts had fallen vacant following the resignations of Siddesh Naik (North ZP) and Suvarna Prabhu Tendulkar (South ZP) in early August. Their resignations were accepted by the Director of Panchayats Siddhi Halarnkar.
