Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: The Goa government has set aside a sizable area of land as a reserved forest for compensatory afforestation in an effort to lessen the effects on the environment. 17.2228 hectares (172,228 square meters) of land in Sangod, Dharbandora, have been designated as reserved forest area by the Department of Forests, says a Goa govt gazette notification.
