Goemkarponn desk PANAJI: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) hinted that the secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) results may be announced on May 15. However, GBSHSE chairman Bhagirath G Shetye said that the date is tentative and not finalised as yet. The SSC examination was conducted from April 1 to April 23. In all, 19,573 students, including 9,757 boys and 9,816 girls, had registered for the examinations conducted at 31 centres across the State. In 2023, as many as 20,476 candidates had appeared for the examination.

MUMBAI: The share of India’s majority Hindu population declined by 7.81 per cent between 1950 and 2015, while that of the Muslim community surged 43.15 per cent in the corresponding period, according to a study published by the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM).
