Goemkarponn desk DHANDEM: A goods train in Sanvordem mowed down fifteen buffaloes on the railroad track at Dhandem. The incident happened early on Wednesday morning. The train driver used the emergency brake when he saw the herd of buffaloes squatting on the track, but because the train was moving at 60 kmph, it took some time to stop, and 12 buffaloes were mowed down to death, according to Meraj Ghaffar, the technical section in charge of the Curchorem railway station.
