The state government has released the updated list of holidays for the year 2024, in which Ram Navami was included. Goemkarponn desk LOUTOLIM: A 19-year-old boy was brutally assaulted allegedly by a group of 6 to 8 persons at Loutolim, last night. The victim, identified as Royson Fernandes, is a resident of Loutolim, Orgao. He was assaulted by the group allegedly with rods and other heavy objects near the Health Centre Junction at Loutulim Vanxem. The victim has received grievous injuries including head injuries and is being treated at the hospital. He has named two of the assaulters. Maina Curtorim police are investigating the matter. Bharat Chauhan, a Rugby player from Maharashtra team, suffered an injury on Wednesday following which he was taken to the state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) near Panaji and was operated upon, he said.
