State Revenue Dept today notified the Goa Restrictions on Transfer of Agricultural Land Rules, 2023 nearly seven months after the Act was passed by the State Legislative Assembly. On July 24 this year high court had directed the state to issue a notification within three months – a deadline that expires on October 24. House owner Rendy Fernandes from Kotawada-Chandor had filed a complaint regarding the incident that took place on the night of Oct 18.
