Panaji: An email about a bomb at the Dabolim airport in South Goa sent the authorities into a tizzy on Monday, prompting them to increase the security on the premises, a senior official said. The High Court asked the Election Commission to file an affidavit specifying if there is any deficit of government staff for deployment on poll duties and also clarify as to why there is need to requisition LIC staff.
