Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert, warning of heavy rainfall at a few places and the likelihood of very heavy rainfall at isolated places. The alert follows the downpour witnessed over the past three days, which has significantly reduced rain deficit from 71.2% to 57.3% in the state. According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of June, posing potential challenges to infrastructure and daily life.
