Goemkarponn Desk PANJIM: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) saiod that it will construct a 5.15-km-long six-lane elevated corridor from Sangolda junction to Majestic Hotel section, Porvorim so as to ease traffic congestion on the National Highway. Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: The State Forest Department to undertake exercise to restore the natural flora and fauna in around 3.20 sq kms of government owned forest areas that were burnt during the recent wildfire. The Chief Wildlife Warden has directed the Deputy Conservator of Forest, North and South to undertake detail assessment of the area to understand the existing plant species there in a bid to undertake plantation and restore it.
