Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: Inspectors from the Department of Legal Metrology, Goa, conducted inspections against vendors selling cigarettes from other countries on World No Tobacco Day. After inspecting about forty-six cigarette shops, the Legal Metrology officers filed complaints against ten of the shops for breaking the 2011 Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules. Mr. Shahid, 45, son of Alishan, of Sabitnagar, District-Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested for illegally possessing drugs, mainly Ganja, according to SDPO Mapusa, Jivba Dalvi.
