PANAJI: The Goa Government will organise the public outreach programme ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ from October 21 to 23 in Sanguem, Canacona and Quepem talukas to provide citizens with an opportunity to raise their grievances and seek assistance directly from the authorities.
The programme will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at three venues. On October 21, the outreach programme will take place at the Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandal Hall in Rivona, Sanguem. On October 22, it will be held at Ravindra Bhawan, Canacona, followed by a session at Ravindra Bhawan, Curchorem, on October 23.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant will personally interact with members of the public and listen to their concerns during the programme. Major government departments will also be present to provide on-the-spot assistance to citizens.
The initiative aims to bring government services closer to the people by offering a direct platform to communicate their grievances, concerns and requests to the Chief Minister and the concerned departmental authorities.
The government has appealed to residents of the three talukas to participate in the programme and make use of the opportunity to raise issues requiring the attention of the administration.
