PANJIM: The Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that he is ready to hand over the labour gate scam case to Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for investigation. PORVORIM: The State Cabinet today granted further six-month extension to off shore casinos to operate in River Mandovi till March 31,2021. The last six month extension granted will lapse on September 30. The government had taken a policy decision in 2013 to relocate the offshore casinos from River Mandovi. However, the failure to identify an alternative site forced the government to grant them a series of extensions to continue in the river. PORVORIM: State Cabinet today decided to transfer the Sanjivani Sugar Factory from Cooperative department to Agriculture department. Addressing press conference post meeting, the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the cabinet has taken the decision to transfer to factory to Agriculture department. Government had on Tuesday announced that the factory will not be shut down and options like running on public private partnership (PPP) model would be explored. Mumbai, September 23, 2020: Reliance Industries Limited (“Reliance Industries”) and Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (“RRVL”) announced today that global investment firm KKR will invest ₹ 5,550 crore into RRVL, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries. This investment values Reliance Retail at a pre-money equity value of ₹ 4.21 lakh crore. KKR’s investment will translate into a 1.28% equity stake in RRVL on a fully diluted basis.
