Goemkarponn desk FATORDA: Two workers have been seriously injured in a blast while cutting a scrap vehicle using a gas cutter. The incident occurred at a scrapyard at Chandwado, Fatorda. Both have been shifted to South Goa District Hospital for treatment. Claiming that such accidents occur frequently, locals have demanded the shifting of the scrapyards to St Jose de Areal.
