Department of Women and Child Development (WCD) has said that the government has initiated process to weed out ineligible beneficiaries of its ambitious Griha Aadhar scheme and the same is nearing completion Director WCD Deepali Naik said in a reply to a complaint filed by activist Kashinath Shetye. Shetye in his complaint had sought stopping of payments to persons fraudulently registered under the scheme.
