Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: Goa today reported 525 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there were 170 recoveries and 2 deaths were reported. As per DHS bulletin, two deaths were reported at Goa Medical College (GMC).The patient who expired from ponda was admitted with primary diagnosis of congestive cardiac failure with an underlying ischaemic dilated cardiomyopathy. The active cases stand at 4322. The total number of samples tested in the last 24 hours is 2505 while the death tally is now 848.

Goemkarponn Desk PANAJI: 8189 people across the state were vaccinated for COVID-19 vaccine on day one of Tika Utsav. 4341 were vaccinated at Panchayats while 3848 were given doses at public and private hospitals.
