Police said information was first relayed by PCR Panjim, following which they visited the spot. No. 56/2025 under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) after receiving information from an unknown caller at around 12.53 pm regarding a body lying in a decomposed state. Police rushed to the spot and found the body of an unidentified male near Our Lady of Boa Viagem Chapel at Naika Waddo, Calangute, Bardez.
