Team Goemkarponn VASCO: In a shocking incident at Baina, Vasco, a woman was murdered in her residence on Sunday afternoon. Police said the accused, identified as Rohom Ali, a native of Assam, allegedly trespassed into the flat of complainant Mohammed Kasim Bedikar at Nayak Building, Katem Baina, and slit the throat of his mother, Mehrunanisa Bedikar, with a knife, leading to her death. Following the complaint, Mormugao Police arrested the accused. The investigation is being carried out under the supervision of PI Sherif Jaques.

Team Goemkarponn LOUTOLIM: Maina Curtorim Police have registered an offence against Jose Cruz, a resident of Roulem, Loutolim, after he allegedly misplaced his licensed firearm. According to police, the incident occurred prior to September 21, 2025, at TNK in Roulem. The firearm, a pistol, was reportedly in Cruz’s possession under a valid license. However, due to negligence, he failed to ensure its safe custody, thereby violating conditions laid down by the competent authorities for handling licensed weapons.
