PANJIM: Union Minister for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shripad Naik on Friday said that that his ministry along with the government of Goa will distribute immunity booster tablets in each household covering all 40 assembly constituencies across the the state.
Also Shripad Naik in a meeting with CM Pramod Sawant & Commander in Chief of all 3 forces in Goa, discussed on co-operation during pandemic crisis in which forces assure support towards fighting against Covid 19 pandemic in the state.
“Ayush Ministry along with government of Goa will distribute immunity booster tablets in each household covering all 40 assembly constituencies in Goa; nearly 6 lakh tablets to be distributed.” said Ayush Minister Shripad Naik
He said, “These immunity boosters have been proved well. Also the heads of all the three services that is Army, Navy and Coast Gaurd have assured their support for the state during this time of Covid 19 pandemic.
Naik further disclosed that these immunity boosters shall be passed on to each MLA from all the 40 constituencies and from there on it will be passed to the local panchayat and then to each wards.
“With this move nearly 6 lakh immunity booster tablets will be distributed to each household in Goa. As per my information almost 7-8 thousand immunity booster tablets have reached the State.” said Naik
Meanwhile, the Covid 19 cases has crossed the 2000 mark in Goa.
Earlier in the day, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane had disclosed that the health department is in the process of procuring another 1000 vials of Remdesivir.
