PANAJI: Superintendent of Police (SP) South Goa has said that the police has arrested the third accused involved in the Bogmalo Shootout Case.
“Another accused, the person who had hired the assailants, has been identified as Ravi Shankar Yadav (30) has been arrested” said SP South Goa
Police said that Yadav is a resident of Anjuna Goa and native of raghavpur Azamgarh Uttar Pradesh.
The police further said that two country made pistols used in the offence recovered at the instance of the accused persons alongwith magazine and cartridges.
“Accused Shailesh had shot Amar,” police sources said
Vasco police had nabbed two persons from Uttar Pradesh near Cansaulim railway station who were reportedly involved in Bogmalo shooting case.
As per police the accused were contract killers who are resident of Mumbai and native of UP.
One youth Amar Naik around 30 years of age and resident of New Vaddem was shot dead after being shot at on the head by two assailants near Ranghavi estate, Bogmalo.
