PANAJI: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Yuri Alemao reacting to the Congress candidate announcement said that both the candidates will be the voice of Goa in Parliament.

The Congress party on Saturday released a list of six candidates for parliamentary constituencies of North and South Goa; Morena, Khandwa & Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and Dadar & Nagar Haveli.
Ramakant Khalap has been given a ticket from the North Goa constituency, while Capt. Viriato Fernandes is set to fight from South Goa
GPCC President Amit Patkar said that with the support of Goans, they will be strong voices in Parliament, committed to safeguarding Goa’s identity.
AAP Goa President Adv Amit Palekar congratulated INDIA Block alliance candidates.
“Together we will fight to defeat corrupt BJP. @AamAadmiParty @AAPGoa @ArvindKejriwal” said Palekar
The party’s Central Election Committee met with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary K. C. Venugopal in Delhi, Khalap and Fernandes were cleared to take on the BJP in the polls.
Opposition leader Yuri Alemao and state party in charge Amit Patkar were present for the meeting along with Goa desk in charge Manikrao Thakare.
