New Delhi: The stage is set for an exciting finish at the Ulhas Jewellers BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2026, with Chandan Caro and Ishita Colaso emerging as the standout performers after booking places in two finals each at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda.
Chandan continued his impressive run by keeping his hopes of a double crown alive. He defeated Yug Prabhu 3-1 in the Boys Under-15 semifinals before overcoming Prathyush Shettigar by the same margin in the Boys Under-19 semifinals to secure places in both title clashes.
Ishita Colaso also remained on course for a double triumph. She defeated Tisha Shaikh 3-1 in the Girls Under-15 semifinals and followed it up with another 3-1 victory over Sanisha Sinha in the Girls Under-19 semifinals to reach both finals.
In the Boys Under-13 category, Yug Prabhu defeated Mission Lalpekhlua 3-1, while Yuvaan Sanke registered a 3-1 win against Kaushik Nair, setting up the championship clash. Ruhaan Shaikh secured his place in the Boys Under-15 final with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dhruva Kamat.
In the Boys Under-19 semifinals, Aaron Farias advanced to the final after defeating Vedant Wagle 3-1.
The Girls Under-13 semifinals saw Sachi Dessai overpower Vanlalrinzualli 3-0, while Tisha Shaikh beat Inara D’Souza by the same scoreline to set up the final.
In the Girls Under-15 category, Aarna Lotlikar produced an impressive 3-0 victory over Sachi Dessai to book her place in the final. Neeza Kamat also advanced after defeating Tisha Shaikh 3-0 in the Girls Under-19 semifinals.
Meanwhile, the Men’s Singles quarterfinals delivered thrilling contests as Wesley Do Rosario defeated Yug Prabhu 4-1, Atharv Dhulapkar edged Diljeet Velingkar 4-3, Chandan Caro overcame Rishan Shaikh 4-2 and Aaron Farias cruised past Dhruva Kamat 4-0 to complete the semifinal lineup.
With multiple players chasing major titles, the tournament promises an exciting conclusion as the finals take centre stage in Fatorda.
