CALANGUTE: The Calangute Panchayat, in collaboration with Goa state bio diversity board and agriculture department organized a successful seeds distribution and awareness programme at the panchayat hall.
The event, which was attended by a number of local farmers and residents, aimed to promote the use of variety agriculture and kitchen garden seeds in the region.
During the programme, participants were educated on the benefits of using high-quality seeds, which can lead to improved crop yields, increased resistance to diseases, and enhanced nutritional value. The programme also highlighted the importance of adopting sustainable agricultural practices and promoting kitchen gardening as a means to ensure food security.
