ANJUNA: Anjuna Police Station today has registered offence under Section 5 of the Noise Pollution Regulation and Control Rules 2000 and Section 15 of the Environment Protection Act 1986 upon the complaint of Saish Kinlekar, PSI, Anjuna P.S., against the accused person namely Sylroy Maskell (27) for playing loud amplified music beyond the permissible time at his restaurant, namely ‘Thalassa by Cliff’
As per information, the restaurent located at Ozrant, Vagator, Bardez, Goa caused noise Pollution in the locality thereby contravening the provision of The Noise Pollution Regulation and Control Rules 2000 and The Environment Protection act 1986.
During investigation the articles seized are Pioneer DJ mixer with a display board and Speaker of make Dynatech.
The case is under investigation with Sandesh Chodankar, SDPO Mapusa, Goa.
