For first time in weeks, Goa has registered positive COVID19 cases below 200 as it reported 139 new cases but deaths continue to be a worry as four more people succumbed to the virus.
The death toll has now reached 148.
A 50 years male from Monte Hill, Margao was brought dead today at South Goa District hospital, was later tested positive. 67 years Male from Vasco, admitted at ESI hospital, with co-morbid conditions expired yesterday. 50 years Male from Balli, admitted at ESI hospital, with co-morbid conditions expired today, 55 years Male from Fatorda, admitted at Goa Medical College & hospital, with co-morbid conditions expired yesterday.
On Monday out of 1879 Samples, 1446 are Negative, 139 are Positive and 294 reports awaited.
At present patients in Isolation wards are 88 and people quarantined at Various Residencies/Hotels-31
On Monday, 13 new cases were reported in Panjim.
The confirmed cases have now crossed 14,000 and are now at 14,138 while active cases have reduced to 3081. The recoveries now stand at 10909.
