The Ulhas Jewellers – BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2024, held at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda, has reached an exhilarating stage with Chandan Caro, Atharva Dhulapkar, and Dhruva Kamat advancing to the finals. In the U13 Boys Quarter Finals, Chandan Caro defeated Ishan Colaco 3-0, Chinmay Bhakare bested Kaushik Nair 3-0, Yug Prabhu overcame Ruhaan Shaikh 3-0, and Dhruva Kamat triumphed over Vedant Wagle 3-0. The semi-finals saw Chandan Caro beat Chinmay Bhakare 3-1 and Dhruva Kamat defeat Yug Prabhu 3-0, setting up a thrilling U13 Boys singles finals between Chandan and Dhruva.
In the U15 Boys Quarter Finals, Chandan Caro defeated Yug Prabhu 3-0, Rishan Shaikh overcame Noel Kurian 3-0, Dhruva Kamat edged out Chinmay Bhakare 3-2, and Atharva Dhulapkar beat Vedant Wagle 3-0. The semi-finals witnessed Chandan Caro defeating Rishan Shaikh 3-2 and Atharva Dhulapkar overcoming Dhruva Kamat 3-0. Chandan Caro is set to clash with Atharva Dhulapkar in the U15 Boys singles finals. The tournament also saw spirited displays from several promising players.
